love and waiting

It seems like I take a while to actually develop a crush on someone, if that makes any sense. Attraction or finding someone hot is quick (and I have a STRONG type) but there's something so nice about becoming really good friends first and then developing the relationship from there

I've dated 4 people but I was only able to develop a relationship slowly with one of them, the others felt rushed and we didn't date very long. I feel like everyone my age kind of likes to go fast, but I dunno! How do you guys feel about it? I'm curious to see different sides
