Report Blog Entry
this is my first poem.
which feels weird to say out loud.
the inspiration came from doki doki literature club.
i rewatched some let'splays.
and something quietly grabbed me by my heart.
i didn’t want to explain feelings.
i wanted to sit inside them.
i think i’ll always write like this.
from emotions.
i used to think poetry had to rhyme.
that you had to know how to write it.
turns out you just have to feel.
i thought i was only an artist.
but i’m just creative.
apparently that means i can do whatever i want. lol.

I’ll Come Back Anyway
It’s him.
I love him.
At least, that’s what my mind keeps saying.
He never changes.
Always the same.
I take comfort in his soft features.
I look at him.
My heart swells with warmth.
I gently stroke his head, because that’s how I cope.
I know how he’ll react.
He won’t like it.
I’ll get angry, wish him dead.
I’ll hit,
I’ll shout,
I’ll cry again.
My heart fills.
This is guilt.
I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.
I look into his innocent eyes
and see myself there.
I’ll come back to look into them again
and feel something - anything at all.

this poem doesn’t tell you how to feel.
that was important to me.
almost gentle.
this is still a poem.
even without rhymes.
even without answers.
and somehow, that’s enough.
