my xbox 360

i am back on spacehey after a long time and i want to talk about my xbox 360 it is an xbox 360 slim but it just got the RED DOT OF DEATH!!!! i redid the thermal paste but that did not work so the only option was a south bridge reflow the problem was that I DONT KNOW SOLDER A JOINT!!!! So i just went on the ole EBAY and got a new 360 for 60 bucks but still that is 60 bucks that would not be in ebays wallet if i could fix my 360!!!
