I'd say it comes to common interests, like drawing or games or writing, etc.
I managed to find some people randomly under my videos and still am friends with them. I guess friend posts here can work too, but there's a bit chance that you'd communicate for a few days and either move to discord, or awkwardly not write to each other. Well, in my epxrience anyway
