A few months ago, my dad found his old camera stored in his closet and gave it to me since he says he doesn't need it anymore. So, I tried turning it on to see if it's still working (and it didn't turn on since probably the last time it had been charged is when i havent even born yet). Do i need some kind of special battery to charge this thing up?

Never seen a camera model like this before, the front seems pretty standard but the buttons and stuff are pretty interesting to me. I think the other guy who commented already said what u needed to know but if u want a little adventure then there’s nothing wrong with going to an actual camera shop and seeing if they have what u need. Another thing I’d suggest is an SD card reader for easy transfer of the photos to any mobile devices in case it’s too much of a fuss to open up ur laptop to do that

the battery might still work actually, but if you want a "new" one, try either ebay or amazon
also, if you need a charger for it, most old digicams prob use USB mini/micro B
