I really want to move to Canada when I'm older in order to escape America. I chose a nearby town in my state so you guys can get a frame of reference without actually leaking my info, I just wanted to ask, what would be the best way to save up and plan for a trip like this?
So far I have this:
Gas money- $70
Snack money- $60
Food money- $40
Toll Money: $20
Apartment money: $2800
Currency transfer fee: $80
Total: 3070
Leave: 5 A.M., arrive around 11-11:40 A.M.
I have made an apartments.com account to find an apartment within Toronto or any nearby areas
Also, i am currently 15, and turning 16 in July. My parents are likely planning to buy me a car and have told me they want to get me a license ASAP.

what are you gonna do once you get to canada without residence, money, a job, or anywhere to stay?
Great question! already thought of this. Plan has changed to where I'll save around $3,000 before i leave (just in rent money, food money will be about $100 for the trip there [not including toll money, which is about $10-20 depending on which tolls I may encounter, that of which I have not researched yet], and I'll see if my family will let me take things from home for the sake of it), and I have been looking for apartments in Canada. Now, this is two years ahead of me, so I've got time to pick. I plan that I'll leave the day before or of when I go look at the apartment(s). I've got friends also planing to move, and if I can no longer rely on them, a nice 'ole craigslist ad might help my blight. Money will be saved up from a job found within a few months of now, if I'm able to get a car or find a job that hires minors and is also somewhere I can bus to or walk to
