An Attempt at debunking most of the Timothy Heller Rumors floating around

TW: Repeated mentions of rape and sexual assault, fake claiming and just... lies. If you can't handle this, take care of yourself first before bothering to read this. You matter more than my blog does.

I might not be the most qualified person to do this and I won't fully go into this like deep dive full but I'm just going to recite stupid arguments stupid Melanie Martinez fans make against Timothy and obviously debunk them. (Please read this in full if you don't mind <3) 

I consider reciting the entire situation to be pointless, so please bother reading this after having done your research. Please, also bother to do research on both sides and not only one. Make your own opinion out of rationality (NOT emotional attachment to an artist with a great voice) and don't believe everything you see or hear (Melanie fans, but also Timothy fans at time, love spreading misinfo).

First things first, every so called evidence of Timothy ''admitting'' to her lying about the allegations is fake. And has been proven fake. Even if you do not believe it is fake or if you don't believe the evidence proving the ''admitting to lying'' statement are fake, you should be skeptical there are mutiple ''confessions'' anyway. All saying different things.

Then here come some stupid claims I have knowledge of debunking of and have been said to me or I have seen passing.

''Timothy has BPD and therefore her story is invalid!'' I personally feel like this rumor came along with the fake tweet of Timothy admitting to lying because she ''has BPD'' and her mental health made her lie about the allegations. This, of course, was proven false and also grew a rise of people dismissing Timothy because of her so called ''BPD'' which isn't in any way confirmed she has. I think Timothy has mentioned having autism before (do not 100% believe me on this), but there's no definite proof of her having Borderline Personality Disorder.

''Timothy does OF!! If she's a victim of assault how come she does sexual things?'' Incredibly stupid argument. Victims of sexual assault or rape can still enjoy sexual things. Aside of that, people who are victims of rape or sexual assault can also become hypersexual. Dismissing Timothy's story because of her current or previous profession is not only misogynistic, but also unlogical. Let's also not forget that Timothy had to start an OF because she couldn't find a job, because her reputation was so tarnished.

''Timothy only does this for attention/fame!'' Timothy has gained absolutely nothing with this. Yes, speaking out has gained her a following of people who support her and listen to her music (in all honesty, I've also attempted at listening to Timothy's music to support her, but it's not really my thing), but she lost far more. If Timothy really lied for attention or fame than it seems to have backfired negatively for her. People still harass and bother her about the allegations, there are playlists, fanpages and threads dedicated to hating her. 

If Timothy had really lied just for fame she wouldn't have come back 7 years later to remind us in fact she doesn't take her words back. There's no reason she would go out and repeat her story if she really was ''lying for fame'', seeing how she knows it has brought her more good than bad.

''Timothy is trying to ruin Melanie's reputation/career! She keeps bringing it up when Melanie is at the peak of her career.'' I'm going to give my blood honest opinion on this. And frankly, I don't give a fuck. If Timothy's story is indeed the truth  (which I believe it is) then she absolutely has the right to feel bitter and completely has the right to indeed try and ruin Melanie's career. I am not claiming or agreeing with this statement, but I think it's fair that a victim takes revenge on the person who has hurt them the most.

''Timothy is a bad person!!'' This keeps being brought up and it has zero to no correlation to the allegations. I couldn't care less of how bad of a person Timothy is (unless it's bordering on territory we just shouldn't enter AT ALL) because she's a victim regardless. Someone can be a bad person and a victim of rape at the same time. Surprise surprise. Also, me personally as a black person (though I speak solely for myself), I don't care about Timothy saying the n word at all. And the fact people put being racist (which I heard something along the lines of Timothy saying the n word in her old tweets was her singing a song lyric, but I am not entirely sure) on the other side of being a rapist is INSANE to me. 

If people told me to stop supporting someone who's a victim of rape or assault, because they said the n word I'd just laugh in their face.

''Timothy is ALSO a rapist!'' Wow there! Melanie fans genuinely lie so much I barely believe them anymore when they make a claim. Usually because it's followed with either no evidence or fake evidence. This sound incredibly hypocritical of me, doesn't it? But we need to remember that when Timothy came out to share her experience TONS of people suddenly came out of their way claiming Timothy had raped them in attempt to tarnish her story. I won't get into this further but watch @idezwitch compilation of videos on either tiktok or Youtube. Her Youtube video is called ''Melanie Martinez's fans are purposefully lying to you about Timothy Heller (Compilation)'', she shows evidence and disproves these claims. 

''Timothy FORCED her friend to watch p0rnographic content against her will!!! ON LIVE.'' 

Firstly, yes there is a livestream of this, but sadly I have to pull the same trick out of the book that all red pill incels and stans pull whenever something inconvenient happens that is in disfavour of their favourite person; ''it was out of context''. Timothy didn't force her friend to watch p-rn at all, people point out how her friend ''screamed no'' and was disgusted, but this was because they were jokingly watching it between the two of them and her friend was, as to say, ''jokingly disgusted'' (or perhaps really disgusted, but not in the manner of grossed out, but in the manner of there still being laughter). An user on Tiktok named @breaddmakesyoufatt (currently has a Timothy Heller pfp) made a video debunking some Timothy arguments (this video might not be up as they have mentioned being banned once) and this was one of them.

''Timothy is a H!tler supporter!!!'' Timothy in fact isn't a Hitler support, but merely agreed with someone debunking an argument a Melanie Martinez fan had made, this person (person Tim was agreeing with) mentioned H!tler in their argument. Also, there were pictures of her making illustrations praising H!tler and supporting him, this cannot be confirmed to actually have been Timothy drawing and uploading this as her account was hacked and there were also a lot of fake accounts of her around.

''Why didn't Timothy go to the police instead of running to social media?!'' I find it funny this argument is used to dismiss Timothy, since there are so many women (specifically women this time, but men and other people also share their experiences) who share their stories and experiences about sexual assault and rape on social media. How come they have the right, but when Timothy does it's odd? Not to forget, so many people have not reported their story to the police, neither have I, and this can be because of various reasons. In Timothy's case it was because she mentioned being in denial and first not realizing what had happened to her wasn't okay. She mentions this in her tweet. Also if we all refuse to believe someone's story, because they didn't go to the police then this means dismissing the story of thousands of people who've been through the same but haven't reported their abuser.

''Timothy accused Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift too!!!'' Simply false. This is made up, believed and mindlessly repeated by Melanie Martinez fans who claim to know their case but simply do not. There's no record, screenshot (perhaps a fake one lmao), or any proof that Timothy has accused them of anything. This rumors has been pulled out of thin air. Timothy has mentioned Billie Eilish before, but primarily speaking in concern of her and not to accuse her of anything.

There probably are more, but I have like four assignments which I need to work on and are banging on my door begging to be worked on. This is all I can think of right now, but if I remember more I WILL add it onto this list. I hope someone reads this and becomes educated. And I hope people will be able to use some of these arguments to decide if they support Timothy or not or debunk Melanie Martinez fans their crazy lies and false arguments.
