My take on BP

As someone who still uses social media like TikTok and Instagram the "looksmaxxing" communities are slowly concerning me.

I'm a huge fan of self-improvement and working on yourself because I believe in potential and what can be achieved when you explore it, which is why looksmaxxing seemed like a positive change in our trends, especially in my country. Tips and tricks on how to live a better lifestyle, going to the gym, improving diets, controlling the mind and as a result, you can feel and look better.  

But I've noticed that looksmaxxing is developing into extremist, unachievable standards. Now "looksmaxxing" or BP is all about fitting into a set blueprint for men and women, promoting plastic surgeries and dangerous operations, Eds and an overall negative mindset. Anything which is different or unique which deffies this blueprint is considered a flaw and should be altered immediately. 

It has become dangerous, I've seen people idolizing this obsessive mindset, putting eachother down and competing on who is a "true adam" or "eve ". Its kinda like watching a dystopian theory become real. 

At some point people are going to get tired of these bleuprints and being unique is going to be the new thing, but the influence this BP trend will leave is inevidable and especially for teens and kids, its going to stay with them for a while.
