confession

i'll just say it rn, i actually have a crush on my best friend. as a placeholder and bc i respect his privacy, were going to call him Dude.

i had this crush for like ALMOST 8 MONTHS, i'm crine...

why i say this now? bc idk if he likes me back or not

so lemme state and give examples why i'm conflicted:

1. he does wants to hang out with me (rn were trying to hang out next week at his house and he invited me to hang out with him like 3 times)

2. he gives me gifts (literally on a school trip he used up most of his money to get me a pen)

3. he lets me hang onto him like putting my arm around his shoulder, and he does it back (LITERALLY HE JUST DID LIKE LAST WEEK)

4. he ACTUALLY said to me "well were great friends now but later maybe more..."  

there's more but i'm not going to bore you with more
