Here's a poem for you bri:
Our favorite restaurant is closing down.
I bought this puppy for you. Thought he would bring you around more often. He almost bit you last time you came over though.
I act like a school boy with a crush when im around you.
I feel like your mom approves of me if we ever became a thing. I love getting invited over to your house to watch ufc. Even though I don't even understand mma. Spending time with you just makes it a better day.
You'll never be my girlfriend, we're too far into this friendship.
I can't tell if im content with that of if I'd be willing to end it... Just for the sheer chance to ask you out as more than a friend. But I don't know where to begin.

And maybe that's a good thing... Cause I would've asked you to be my girlfriend next time we went there.

Personally, I *never* Keep In Touch With My Exes At All...
(Or even with Any Old Romantic Interests I had long ago that never panned out)
But My Sister was with Robert for 10 Years (they both had a band together, and they fucking Kick Ass)...
And then they Broke Up...years ago...
And they STILL are jamming together (even though he got Married to someone else, heh).
I guess they're still kinda SoulMates.....
I'll only regret it if we both end up with the wrong people or people that we get divorced from. I can't risk ruining the friendship...
But aw that story is sweet. Glad they're still friends!
