Favorite Horror Movie

So I LOOOOOVE horror!!!!

And I have been on a binge of horror movies recently. My favs so far have been Weapons, Long Legs, Daddy's Head, Late Night With the Devil, and Splinter.

So here's a little bit about them WITHOUT SPOILERS

Weapons:

So I love the story telling in this movie because it is non-linear. You bouince from one character to the next to tell the story. Also the "monster"... bruh. The way it runs is seared into my brain. Like the gas station scene is played over and over in my mind cause wtf was even that?!?! I highly recommend this movie.

10/10

Long Legs

This is a detective film told in 3 chapters. One focusing on the detective, the second on the killer, and the third is *Redacted* BTW Nicholas Cage is in this movie and I had no idea until half through a monolouge he gave. The makeup is amazing. I told my mom he was in it and even wheen she knew he was in the movie it still took her a while to figure out who he was. Also him scream singing in his car was so damn funny.

8/10 (needed more Nick singing)

Daddy's Head

... WTF IS THIS MOVIE!?!?!?!? First the Cinematography was amazing! The lighting in some of the scenes was just pure *Chefs Kiss* The House!? Who the fuck builds a house like that? It looks so damn weird and adds to the wtf-ness of the movie. Also I would not be taking care of a random child (I know hes nmot random but like c'mon) like is there no other family that can take him. Like I know that they sorta have an establisheed relationship but it seems like the kid would be comfortable with literally anyone else. The creature design in this movie is also insane. I fucking hate seeing that thing in the vent.

9.5/10 (Fuck the house)

Late Night With the Devil

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! I fucking love this movie! The set design 10/10, the filpping between "On camera" and "behind the scenes" 10/10, Mr. Wriggles 10/10! I love this movie because how how it was shot, how its narrated, oh my gawd. The story is somewhat predicatble but I don't mind that at all. The ending mind fuck is awesome!! I love when he looks into the camera and is like "Stop watching, turn off your TV."

10/10

Splinter

I did not realize this was an "older" moviee till I looked it up and and saw it was made in 2008. This is one of the few creeature movies I actually like. I absolutely HATE/love how that thing moves and spreads. It /gen sends shivers down my spine at some points. The practical effects are amazing. At one point a body is ripped in half and oh boy do you see it. I also love how the people in the movie aren't stupid. They actually think beforee trying to do shit and not just run out into the open to be fotter for the creature.

8.5/10 (Acting could be a bit better)

All in All, these are some of my favorite horror movies I have seen recently. I'll be seeing Iron Lung in theaters today so I'll write a review on that later. If you have any horror movie rec's lemme know and I'll review them.

love 4 y'all
