its my dogs birthday today. shes turning 7.
i got her as a puppy and im kinda sad shes getting older. like my old dog died at 10 so now im afraid i only have like 3 years left with her. shes such a goofball and i love her so much. i wouldnt know what to do without her, i mean i got her when i was 14?? she basically grew up with me >_<

I know this feeling, my dog just turned 12 and my other dog passed away when she was 13, that makes me so scared, even she seems very healthy

I know this feeling, not exactly, but I had a cat that behaved exactly like humans, and he would even hit me if I did something that bothered him, but he was sick and sneezing a lot, so my father decided to take him away and give him to another family. I cried a lot, I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him, and I kept dreaming of him from time to time that he would come and play with me.
To avoid or even relieve this pain, live every day with your dog as if it were the last day n a really useful exercise, imagine that time has come and gone, imagine all the details, and I start crying. This will help you accept the situation when you see it really go
i will try that out thank you <33 i have cried multiple times about her death even tho she is still very much alive so i dont know how im going to cope when it does happen one day but we'll see ... :')

I'm sure you'll cry a little and stop and say this won't work I've cried before. I did that with my grandfather and I didn't cry for him I don't remember that I did, he died of Corona
