Music Blog: entry one

hullo !!

in this entry, i'm going to list off my 5 favourite genres of music and a little bit about why i've rated it that way.

let's get into it !

1. Alternative

now i know that it may seem a bit basic, but alternative music is my favourite genre of music by a long shot. i dunno whether it's because i've been raised on listening to alternative/indie music, or the genre has been growing in popularity, but alternative makes up the bulk of what i listen to and i absolutely adore it as a genre :)

the alternative/indie artists i listen to the most are: gorillaz, arctic monkeys, the killers, and cage the elephant

2. Hyperpop

hyperpop is one of those genres that you either love or hate, and i just happen to be one of those people to love it with all my heart. i got into hyperpop fairly recently, and ever since my initial discovery of it i have been OBSESSED. i usually listen to it when i have a lotta energy and im looking for something fast and loud to vibe to.

the hyperpop artists i listen to the most are: 100 gecs, charli xcx, and SOPHIE

3. Punk

punk is another genre i grew up listening to and it has stuck with me throughout my entire life
alongside many other genres. what makes punk so special to me though is the fact that it was the first genre of music i can actually remember being introduced to as a kid. i have vivid memories of jamming along to green day, paramore, and blink 182 with my family and it makes me smile. punk will always rate high on my list of genres and will always be close to my heart.

the punk artists i listen to the most are: green day, the clash, the offspring, and paramore

4. Rock

rock is the second most genre that i listen to, and a genre i yet again grew up on. my parents' favourite genre is rock, and they would play the foo fighters literally all the time. the foos aren't the only rock band i listen to though.

the rock artists i listen to the most are: three days grace, fall out boy, set it off, nirvana, get scared, mother mother, and falling in reverse

5. Indie

The last genre i have on the list is indie. Indie has been a recent discovery for me in music, but oh dear god have i been missing out on some amazing music !! i'm not too sure why, but when i was younger i just assumed that alternative and indie were the same genre of music, which stopped me from discovering one of the best genres of music to ever be created !! it's something i can always listen and vibe to, no matter how i'm feeling and i absolutely adore it for that.

the indie artists i listen to the most are: lovejoy, the wombats, surf cruise, the strokes, good kid, and jack stauber

aaand that concludes my little list ! this was really fun to do, and i hope you all enjoyed this lil ramble !! until next time !!

1) "Alternative" means that there's a certain amount of creativity and creativity, which is good for music and music video, but bad for video.

I've seen this happen with the video game soundtrack.

The video games are very different. They don't make any sense, or even have any idea of how they work. They're very different, and it doesn't help the video game industry to make music videos, or video games, because there is no concept of the video games, which means that the video games are a very different experience than video game.

2. Technicolor/Hollywood / Indie

I don't really understand why people would choose a certain style to a certain genre of music, because it's just not the right way of playing music in general. I mean, if you play music in general and then you play music in the studio and then you play the music and it sounds great and you like it and you don't have to change your music or change it in any way, you're going to get what the game is about.

But, I mean, I know I can do this, but I'm not sure I would do this, because the way it is is not really that interesting to me.

But I'm not saying you shouldn't try and make music in a specific genre, but you should not be doing this, and you shouldn't do this because it is very different from what you're doing in general, and that is the problem.

So let's talk about this one.

I think the most common reason for people to play music is that the video game has something different, it is more complex than what they've been used for.

It's not like the music video game is the only way you can do it, but the video game industry doesn't really have anything special, because the game industry doesn't make music, it makes movies.

I don't mean that they're bad for video games; they don't even have any special effects, but the game is very complex
