Remembering Feelings

I walk down this cold old town street again. It's a quarter past 5. The winter breeze dances in my hair and the street lights flicker alive. I turn up the headphones to This is For Keeps by Spill Canvas. The feeling of having you beside me is now gone. I remember the pain I used to carry. I breathe in the crisp air and let out a swift sigh. You're a ghost now lingering in my mind. Sometimes I wonder if you're doing okay. Church bells ring then people rush out of stores. I stop by the local coffee shop. As I open the glass door I see your face in mine.
