Tutorial on how to get old youtube layout using StarTube

I am pretty sure there's already many tutorials for StarTube online, but I still wanted to share this, since you know, we are on a website that tries to recreate the old internet after all!

This is a tutorial specifically for Chrome!
Also worth to note that a lot of layouts don't work properly with dark mode.

1. First of all you need to download Tampermonkey, which can be found here! Just click on the "add to Chrome" button and you're good to go.

After you downloaded Tampermonkey go to chrome://extensions/, click on details under Tampermonkey's icon, and enable "Allow User Scripts"!

2. Go to https://vorapis.pages.dev/#/home/download and download manual MV3 Local Extension, I am not sure if launcher works, since when I tried it just wouldn't work 🤷‍♀️

Use WinRAR to extract files wherever you like - doesn't matter, as long as you can find it!

Then go back to chrome://extensions and enable developer mode, press on "Load unpacked", and load the V3 folder.

3. Now you can download StarTube! Just press install after you got redirected to Tampermonkey website and you're done.
If you did everything correct it should look like this:

If you want to change layout just press on extensions (the puzzle symbol) > Tampermonkey > Open StarTube settings and you can edit everything to your liking!

I hope this small tutorial helped at least a little; Also another thing worth to note is that this extension makes youtube perform better  (at least I think it does perform better...)
