i bounce between two or three different blogs looking for a way to get my points across. are there even points to get across? i think im overthinking this social media thing, developing one large brand across platforms. venting online is great because it lets you move in silence while telling everyone about what you're doing. i have one, maybe two followers here? and on tumblr i have none. and on are.na i have a few. and my website isn't even live yet. this seems a little convoluted. does anyone read these ?
earlier this year I found someone's blog while looking for spas online at work, and what struck me was the enthusiasm in their writing. There was no interaction but there was steady dedication. I loved it, i read their lists and everything and it was great. i wanted to do that.
at the same time, its cool to have people engage with your work. perhaps i'll use spacehey as a public declaration of my love for social media.i can come to terms with what it means to leave a legacy online while paving my own.
AT THE MOMENT (and i know i've written about this dozens of times (if anyone keeps up)):
nohpets.com will serve as curation along with archival purposes. i can have an archive there.
e5aa70 is split into things i like, writing, and daily entries. currently there's no photography attached, but slowly the name will build. the goal is to eventually make a zine titled #e5aa70 where i edit and publish a bunch of local artists, writers, musicians, etc. let's start small tho. right now e5aa70 is my cross-platform blog, brought together by a single hashtag. in theory, each page would lead to each other as a direct and safe link, but as of january 5th, 2022, i have no idea how to make that possible.
this weekend i plan on streaming for the first time professionally. I'll build on tiktok until i eventually have to move. Figuring out how to run a youtube channel with their new algorithm, but it looks like shorts might be the new wave. I decided I will upload any tiktok with more than 100k? maybe 200k? maybe whatever i want it to be.
i think i'll stop the B portion here, especially considering the A section hasn't been written yet.
