The housemaid trilogy

I had just recently finished the first book of the housemaid after I accidently read the second one, it was really surprising how the housemaids secret was not confusing at all since the first book has no relation whatsoever, but it doesn't matter that much to me. In my opinion, the second book was way better than the first one, the writing was nicer in a way. In the first book, the plot was really good with a nice twist at the end, and it was very well explained and satisfying, but the writing could have been better. In the second book, some people say that it was predictable, maybe at the end it is. But I was really shocked to find out that Wendy betrayed Millie, there is no way anyone predicted that or they would be geniuses or something. To me the writing was way better than the first book, and the plot was better. Either way Frieda McFadden's books are truly amazing and really got me out of my reading slump. I'm looking forward to read the last book and the novella with it.
