Strangers At The Beach
Strangers at the beach,
Fall in love when their eyes meet.
Silence hanging through the air,
All shared through a simple stare,
The moon glistened on the shoreline,
There was a tear in her eye,
She said she was fine,
Then she waved goodbye.
Rant: Sometimes I still think about you, this poem reminds me of the way we fell apart at first. I'm still missing you after all this time. Do you still think of me? I must be dead to you now. I can't take back the things I said. But at least now I forgive myself, I sleep a little better at nights. I know I'm not vindicated.
