The Search for Justice (Ma'at) - Vent

This post is about Kemeticism. I am not interested in conversion, please do not attempt. Respectful discussion encouraged.

I won't call it much of a crisis of faith as much as a skepticism towards human compassion. For those unfamiliar with Ma'at, it is the word for truth, justice, harmony, order, etc. in Ancient Egyptian. In Kemeticism, we strive to maintain and pursue Ma'at and to avoid chaos and lies (Is/fet) in order to preserve our world.

It feels to me that Ma'at is impossible to approach in our human society, especially with the rise of social media allowing for verbal abuse behind a near-anonymous mask we call a profile, with little if any moderation. People have made it a hobby to "troll", "rage-bait", and even "sui-bait" people online, Americans and other nationalities have become extremist to the point of pursuing wanton violence with others who they deem too different (This is nothing new, but one would have hoped it'd be a relic of the past). So much progress  is being thrown away and people encourage a culture of hatred. Ma'at and Is/fet are inevitable, but it's been an overwhelming rise in Is/fet that no one can deny ever since the end of the previous decade and sharply increased in our current one.  It feels hopeless, and I do not believe humans can make significant gains in Ma'at within this century. Everyone is too comfortable living lies or accepting them, and ignoring violence instead of preventing it.
