Eddsworld fandom rant

I genuinely do not understand the tomtord hype. Like, actually, I have tried so hard to understand. I have looked deeply for specific instances that people mention, but I genuinely see nothing. They were friends at some point and hated each other sometime later.

I know this isn't that deep, but it really is to me, considering how deeply this ship consumes the fandom. 

And I can provide SPECIFIC INSTANCES of them butting heads, hating each other, etc.

As for whenever they're not fighting, I can't say I see them as anything more than friends?? Like no romantic moments WHATSOEVER.
