the sun couldnt be seen in this type of weather, the sky was completely dark enough for someone to think it was already night. though it was coming close as the clouds covered the sky and rained hard on the ground.
rain drops raced and stained the windows, — was blankly staring outside the walled rainy city. he exhaled before facing the indoors again, there were barely no customers causing him to get incredibly comfortable on the job. he was laying all sprawled out on a chair beside the window, his chin resting on it’s surface. he was about to “rest” his eyes till the bell was heard, the moment he opened his eyes, it looked as if the sky immediately became clear while the sunset shone brightly.
— quickly grabbed his broom as a leverage to stand, brushing his hands on his apron as he clumsily rushed to see who it wase smiled brightly without even looking who was in front of him, “oh my god! hi! hello, you’re here for?” he happily greeted, pearly whites freely shown.
—— cautiously and coldly eyed him down, taking in his appearance after giving him a once over. after noticing the other man’s silence, — slightly calmed himself down and cleared his throat as he slowly grew self-conscious at the staring. he started to try and fix his hair, though he just ended up anxiously fiddling around with it as he thought about how its been a while since he got his hair cut..
“you do nails and hair here? my niece wanted me to see the place,” — ever so finally spoke, he looked completely unimpressed when he glanced around.— was too shocked to answer, anyone wouldve been basking in the comfy atmosphere alongside the subtle jazz playing in the background with the sunlight beaming inside by now, he owlishly blinked
