Long nails, torture or vanity?

I LOVE LONG NAILS but nobody told me that having long, FAKE nails was so torturous.

Naturally my nails are long; I had them long for a long time in school, but I couldn't paint them because of the rules, so one of my dreams after graduating was to have long red or pink nails whit lots of cute designs full of glitter or smth, idk, but I started veterinary school, and even then, the practical training required that I didn't have long, painted nails, so my dream literally went to shit ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡However, now you could say I'm temporarily not studying or working, so I decided to get fake nails and GOD, I LOVE THEM but they're incredibly difficult to manage and get used to , even the easiest tasks are now ao difficult !

I love wearing pantyhose and I can't anymore because I tore them when I tried to put them on, washing dishes is horrible, playing on the PC is impossible, and things like CHATTING (even writing this)It's absolutely a damn challenge. I can literally feel my hands going numb from not being able to fully close them, which was a way to relieve stress (which in my case is mostly located in that area) or a way to stretch them.

I don't know if it's worth going through all this just because I like how they look, and I want to think it's just a matter of time, but they're really starting to tire me out. I hope that, like I said, I'll just get used to it (⁠┛⁠ಸ⁠_⁠ಸ⁠)⁠┛⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻
