i am you

I am already myself, you just forget. With time i change, but you are me, and I am you. 

I strive to be better every day, hoping I’m making you happier. And one day we will meet just to realize that it was all for nothing. Still i find joy in trying, hoping. Sometimes I fail, feel like I let you down. The pain and worry fill my mind. I am the one responsible for you so what is this that i have done?
You could say I’m a fool but aren’t you one too? Waiting for me at the end of the world, laughing. But you don’t know that you are there either, for you are a fool just like me. You look back but you don’t recognize me. Your heart will stop beating and we will both die. Do you feel like we are worth it? Well, one day we will find out.
