learning how to read music >>

HIIIII

been leaning how to play the keyboard, right now tho im focusing on learning music theory and how to sight read, while also aiming to have a perfect pitch
i really enjoy ear training so much, the thing that always confuses me about sheet music are the notes outside the stave, its so hard to recognize
does anyone have an advice :>? any tips or tricks on how to learn it more efficient?? any resources??

THANKK YOU

Learning which ledger lines hold C are always the easiest, they stick out and once you've memorized them you can start working around that. Like if its one step below your middle C you'll easily know its B as long as you know the middle C. Or if you have a note on the first ledger line on top. If you know that the next C out of the stave is on the second ledger line, you can easily just count down a third and know its A. Having these pivot points to work around was super useful for me and eventually you'll just memorize each note anyways. Good luck!
