Spotting relationship issues early on

The importance/value/priorities you give to a person and the person gives to you in their life are two side of the same coin.

As long as both are balanced and understood by each other, the relationship will be healthy and bring happiness to both persons.

For any reason (with or without no one’s fault) importance/value/priorities may no longer be in the same level for the other person in the relationship.

identifying it early and accept it can save the relationship. We can try gentle pushbacks but if you put your desperate efforts to bring back it to its original state then it may ultimately break as the other person is no longer feel it the same way we feel it. So any desperate efforts from our side may cause further alienation from the other side.

You can’t pour more water in to a closed cup; you can’t keep bothering someone in the name of showing our love, care in desperate attempts when the other side don’t value the same way.

Accepting the reality and adopting ourselves for the changed situation may be the better way to preserve our mental health and the relationship in some form.

Weirdly these things are easier to be said than done.
