What the heck could I be doing screaming on my wedding day? Well, you see, I wasn't. I was rocking out to metal music at my wedding. Yup, you read that right: metal music. While I can't remember the precise song that accompanied this particular scream, I can tell you that my feet did not leave the dance floor for over two hours. I just wish I had a picture of the mosh pit that started! Aw well, that's what the video is for. So, the next time someone tells you that you can't get people to dance to the music you like, just think about your audience. Do they like KPop, Bollywood, Reggaeton, 90's, Metal? Whatever it is, match your interests to theirs and find some songs that work for the typical dancers. I had plenty of friends head banging with me. Now, the other reception, for family, was a completely different story. We played 20's to 70's music (I also love Jazz, Crooner, Classic Rock, funk...) for the older folks and man, did they boogie. Once they started to head home, the music shifted to 90's Hip Hop and the millennials and their kids got to work on the dance floor. So, like I said before, know your audience and then dance the night away!
