made a little guy! :3

hiya friends!

lately I've had an insatiable hunger for KEYCHAINS. I NEED a keychain for my new handbag so badly, but in the interest of minimising my pointless consumerist spending for something that'd probably fall apart quickly anyway I thought I should try to make one myself first and see if it scratches the itch. 

and I did! and I'm *almost* completely happy with it. here it is--

note the toebeans on its little feetsies! they were a total accident LOL. I just kind of freehanded the design onto some fabric my family had laying around. I didn't think about the pattern placements at all. see also the delicate ornamentation on the face, which I totally love! 

I don't love that I had to sew the nose on but my attempt to embroider it directly on turned out Hideous and one of my 'practice noses' turned out beautifully, so I thought I'd be better off just using that instead :-p although I'm so bothered about having lost the wonderfully decorative pattern over the eyes (which really reminds me of that which you might find on a tabby cat) that I might just remove it and go Noseless instead, a la Miffy. we'll see. 

should I give it a name? if so, what do you suggest? thank you as always for stopping by 🎶
