Recently, I dug my old ipod out of the grave. People are saying 2026 is the new 2016. In 2016 I had an ipod touch instead of a phone and I didn't know half the concepts I knew today. 

We are in an age of perception. The princess of swords reminds us of the weather that has made us vicious. These days, we have the power to select what we consume more than ever. These days, the world demands that we be picky. We are conditioned to be stubborn and cruel to see what we want. all the time. We have been cultured to be incisive. Sometimes I feel that this need to regress- back to 2016 comes from here. Nostalgia can mean "I can no longer stomach the world today." And with the choice you have to pick and choose, why wouldn't you build a cocoon for yourself?
