Weird Newgrounds Powerpuff Girls game trilogy.

(WARNING: MENTIONS OF PRETTY HEAVY CARTOON GORE, EDGY NEWGROUNDS SHIT)

So the other day I've just replayed a newgrounds game series from my childhood that was sorta just messed up for no reason (believe it or not), it was called something like 'Kill the Powerpuff Girls', what do you do in these games? Just that. Anyways, i remember watching a walkthrough of this game series, now, here's my best way of describing the series;

You're an assassin (or something like that I assume) and your job is to murder all the Powerpuff Girls, starting with Blossom. You basically just shoot her down while she's flying, and once she falls down, you have to put a grenade in her mouth, blowing her entire head off, and during that entire sequence a random song plays in the background as a single tear rolls down Blossom's face. After that, it goes to the credits, with a text saying "MISSION COMPLETE" or something. As Blossom's decapitated corpse floats in the background as the outro song from the original series plays in all of its low-quality glory.

Who's next on the chopping list? Bubbles. For this mission, you start outside her house. With the remaining sisters, Blossom and Buttercup just sleeping in their bed happily without Blossom as if nothing happened. You then place some kind of trap dog that lures and knocks out Bubbles with some kind of weird gas. After she wakes up in some sort of torture chamber or whatever, you have to cut off her hair for some reason (seriously, no offense to the creator or anything but is all of this unneeded shock value really needed?). And right after that, she starts crying, and you electrocute her with her own tears, right after that her fucking eyes pop out. And when you think it's all over, somehow, she starts floating AS SHE'S DEAD and you have to gun her down, idk, for some reason that scene was actually a bit SPOOPY. 

After... that, same credits as before but with Bubbles. Anywho, time for the final game in the trilogy; Kill Buttercup.

So it starts with you (the player) at the city of Townsville, and let me tell you; the quality of this game improved A LOT since the other games. And boy, Buttercup is PISSED (well, both of her sisters just got brutally murdered, so that makes sense.), and says some shit like "Payback time!" Like brah 😭😭 i get that yo sisters are dead but at  l e a s t  have a good one-liner😭😭, but at the end of the day, it is 2000's Newgrounds, edgy motherfuckers were everywhere at the time. Now back to the game; after the cutscene, you then get into a minigame where you have to, and i quote "bitch slap" Buttercup (yeah, once again, its edgy 2000's newgrounds, but DARN the amount of misogynistic language in this trilogy). 

So yeah, the minigame consists of you having to slap/punch Buttercup at the right moments as she tries beating you up, what happens if you lose? You obviously get your ass whooped by Buttercup, and it then cuts to a honestly hilarious game over screen saying "Knocked out by a little girl? Pussy you". But maybe i'm just immature. After blocking all of Buttercup's punches, she harshly hits the ground, and after this is one of the most gruesome deaths in the trilogy. So, first you put some sort of steak (not the food, you obese nimrod) and hammer it into her a few times as the song 'Sucks To Be You' (goated song btw) by the Canadian virtual band Prozzak plays in the background. And after  t h a t  you have to hit her head with a hammer with the text "Hammer Crazy" popping up. So yeah... t h e n  she dies, putting an end to this weird anomaly in the Newgrounds and PPG community. 

Now, what do i genuinely think about this short Newgrounds series? It definitely was a childhood classic for me. But gonna be honest, i have no idea why the creator of this series had such a burning hatred for these fictional sisters, and keep in mind that this was before the controversial 2010's reboot, so i don't think that there was THAT many people who gave that much of a fuck about a cartoon about three heroine sisters kicking ass. But at the end of the day, the person was probably just an edgy teenager making these games and prob has a family or something now. And i've actually just realized that i sounded like a bad creepypasta protagonist almost the entire time on this blog, damn. So yeah, sorry if it sounded like i took a (most likely) satirical art piece seriously, i just wanted to give you the best description of this fever dream that i could.
