ok, so i REALLY need to get this out.
HOW THE FLIPPITY FLOP DO PEOPLE CHOOSE AN AESTHETIC?!
like is it just me? one day, i think i'm a coquette aesthetic person. and then? i stumble upon juminocore. oh, it's so cute! i finally found my TRUE aesthetic!! and then suddenly I'm into weirdcore and scene and drawing on my converse? and NOW i'm like, ok, let's stick to y2k. but no, tsuyome gyaru is my type of clothing! AND THEN I'm like: ok. I have to be more organized. I'll be a clean girl. HECK NO, i think after an hour.

Ahah!! No you're definitely not sick! Everything's okay lol. Actually if you think about it, if social medias didn't introduce us to the concept of an "aesthetic" we wouldn't be stressing out about it as much, in my opinion. But I do understand what you're going through. I really don't know either how one does chose one aesthetic and stick to it for the rest of their life, lol ! There's a looot to try, and a lot that is passionately interesting in this world. So the matter is to not care about "fitting" or "matching" with an asthetic more than another just "because we have to chose", why should we ? Cause it's the exact same process as trying to put ourselves in a "box", (and it's understandable cause it does feel socially comfortable, at some point.) But, i've definitely experienced how much more comfortable it is to not care that much anymore and to just do as we like. And if you like multiple things at the same time, it's up to you to really circle around all of it! Nothing wrong with that ! :P There's so much to love, nothing stops us from going for all of it !

You aren't really supposed to "choose an aesthetic", you're supposed to have a personal style. Your personal style can incorporate stuff from one aesthetic or incorporate things from a lot of different aesthetics. It's really just picking and choosing what appeals to you and not necessarily focusing on named aesthetics.
But also, if you really want to dress in a bunch of different aesthetics on different days you can do that. You just need to curate a wardrobe with pieces that work for most of the different styles (or have a bit of a bigger wardrobe that has specific outfits for each style).

I just mix and match, If I like it then that's all that matters when I look for an aesthetic or design blogging wise. That's whats so fun about blogging, ITZ YOURZ :3!!!
