Life and stuff?

hey everyone! sorry i've been so offline lately. i haven't been very motivated to be on spacehey much >.> sometimes i get overwhelmed with all the things i wanna say. and it's hard for me to do something so consistent without a general direction/audience. i've also been wondering if i should start using bulletins instead of blogs. it makes a lot of sense, i just don't like the idea of my words disappearing forever...

but hey! unfortunately my winter break ends in one week :/ and i am not ready to go back to college... i'm taking a lot of film analysis classes, at least. last time i did a class like that, i got to watch a lot of masterpieces! also got more creative writing classes coming up B) so good classes all around, it's just that idk how motivated i'll be. and my college is extremely introverted.

today is wednesday, which is the typical "christian church small groups" day. originally going to my church group wasn't even a question for me- i went every week. but there's been a lot of change in leadership in my group, a lot of change in people's lifestyles, and it's just not the same... i've been struggling when it comes to combining social events with religion. i've been looking into other groups at other churches, but so far no one's emailed me back. i suppose i could do a whole blog on my religious frustration. there was one church i loved, but it was 45 minutes away :/ i've had a couple people reach out to me from my main group, and it's been hard to bring up why exactly i've been drifting apart to them.

let's talk about something else now. i've been taking a break from my creative writing stories because...

*drum roll*

i'm making an album!!!!!!!!

and i'm so excited to put it together! i've been working really hard on it! from what's been recorded, it sounds good. i should totes do a blog about the whole process, rite? it's mostly indie rock, but there's some other surprises in there. i hop between some wacky genres. i don't make the instrumentals themselves, but i create the melodies and sing lyrics! and luckily my friend has a neat recording studio in his apartment that he's been letting me use. we've both been making music for about a year, but he's like the super good one at it. it's a funny story how we started, and yes it involves D&D... mwhahaha

i'm also gonna try to post some reviews of a couple things, including:

1. a beautiful day in the neighborhood- this is a movie where tom hanks plays mr. rogers. spoiler alert: it's a masterpiece!

2. metroid prime 4- spoiler alert: it sucks!

3. magical mystery tour by the beatles. spoilers: i have a lot of crazy rants to say about it!

so... yeah. typing all of this has me motivated, haha. so let's see if i start being more active, cuz obvs i have stuff to say! for right now... lunch beckons me. hope you all have a good day =)
