Spacehey has lost it's most reliable user.

I feel bad I'm a few hours behind on making my own bulletin about it. I was around to see everyone elses last night but somehow I didn't. It hit my bulletin board about 12 hours ago.

To those of you who don't know yet - Jon the Bunny, The Unofficial Grandpa of all Spacehey, has passed away. It feels weird looking back on his profile and only seeing 500 or so friends, but I'm sure all of those friends got their share of real care from him, and considering that, it's no small number.

If you didn't know him - he was active every day, always there to console people venting about feeling bad in any way he could. Always there to spread the word about the site to anyone who'd listen about it IRL. In my head at least I think the merch sweaters were a regular part of his attire. Very 420 friendly, not that I need to quote his profile verbatim. Most of all he didn't seem to leave any bulletins unread. I certainly couldn't tell if he did - it seems like every time I posted something where I could expect him to have something to say, he would. And if you read his bulletins you could learn a lot about his cat Ditta.

That said, it seems he's had it rough for the past few weeks in multiple senses of the word, and I feel bad for not giving back the care, but I myself didn't get to be as active as I'd like and well, best I can do now is to remember him.

To that end, this is entry bears hi profile's layout. He didn't use any for his own blogs, but I do and it feels strangely appropriate, despite the subject matter.

He will be missed. By all of us who knew him, I think.
I just hope Ditta is doing ok in his absence.
