Happy New Year. I'm coming into this year spiteful and petty ｡◕‿◕｡

1. Gay men can be just as misogynistic as straight men- This doesn't seem that radical however I think it is way too normal in society that we let [EMPHASIS ON NOT ALL] gay men judge women and I cant stand it. I've met too many gay men-- who usually embraced that stereotypical "sassy" gay dude archetype-- and who loved dogging on women's looks and how they act (ex: "she did nottt eat"; "wtf is she wearing..." YOU ARE STILL A MAN WHAT???). I also see that some MLM content in ITSELF can tend to be misogynist! Think examples where a woman (usually a wife/girlfriend character) is mistreated for "being in the way" of 2 male characters, which sounds hyper specific but is strangely common??

2. You are not a real punk/alternative if you use AI- I think this shouldn't be a hot take. AI is harmful to society. It literally poisons the water supply's of small towns and is fed by the work of others without their consent. Not to mention its a product of billion dollar corporations-- all of these things are inherently what punks/alternative people are against. I'd be willing to go further and argue that if you use social media (specifically short form sites like Snapchat, Instagram, or TikTok) you are also being somewhat a hypocrite to your beliefs. 

3. Pro shipping is morally bad, however censorship is as well- Most of what exists on say, fan fictions sites like AO3, is completely against mine and most normal peoples moral values. As much as I do not like this content I think it is within the peoples right to express freedom of speech. HOWEVER, this does not mean freedom from consequence or judgement. (I think there is an exception if the content is based on real people, which is where laws do come into play and the content can be genuinely illegal. I'm talking about fictional work/characters in this example). Every now again the whole anti vs. pro-shipper argument arises and I think many people cannot accept a nuanced take.
