The Beginning of The Constellarium.

This is a story for my original pony.town species, Starborns. Please note this is an 18+ community before joining.

A desolate cave stretched deep into the earth. It was quiet except for the stream of water echoing deeper inside, splashing uselessly against the cold stone.

A large creature of dark void and stardust ushered similar creatures inside, attempting to shield them from the rising sun. It was getting too bright for them, they needed the shadows to protect them until night fell again. "Go, go, hurry inside. The sun's light wont reach us," the silver furred creature reassured. The three smaller ones went in further.

"Moonlight, are you sure this is safe?" One of the smaller ones asked, his tone hushed as if fearing waking up some secret beast hiding in the cave. Once they were deep enough, Moonlight Starborn took the lead to light the way with their horns. "It's safer than being out in the open."

As they traveled deeper, another one of the smaller Starborns was practically hopping forward, eager to explore. "This cave looks so dead." Another muttered, trying to keep the hopping one from going too far ahead, "Bunny, please slow down."
The mossy Starborn walked close to Moonlight, shivering a little. But they he noticed a light ahead. "Moonlight.. There's no crack in the cave, right?"
"We're pretty deep.. there shouldn't be." Once again Moonlight walked ahead, past Bunny to check for danger first.
"They're.. Plants," they said finally, "the fruits, on those vines."
The more timid one stepped up as Moonlight contined, "they look a bit like you, actually."

Moonlight looked down at him. "We still don't know what to call you, do we?"
The one beside Bunny spoke up from behind, "we don't know what to call those, either." He motioned to the berries.

"Call 'em glowberries! They're berries that glow! Right Celestial?" Bunny looked at Celestial as she bounced in place, pleased by her own brilliant idea.

"Moonlight, please get my sister away from me." Celestial began to walk forward, using Moonlight as a shield. But Moonlight was looking at the timid green starborn in front of them. "We can call you Glowberry, sure. Glowberry Starborn."

Their gaze was drawn back up to the plants. "..If food can grow here, maybe we can stay a while." They looked to Celestial. "Right?"
Celestial nodded in agreement. "It'd be nice to have a place to rest long term.."
