Why do we spread hate instead of love?

It's so weird. Every time I go on tiktok, insta or any platform, I realise how lost most people are. So many people are discriminating and disrespecting others, all I see is hateful comments under every post, it doesn't matter what it's about. It's so sad to see, how so many people in the comment sections of a lgbtq pair, or a pro abortion tiktok are literally finding arguments against basic human rights. Or there's literally just a kid expressing themselves and the comments are just judging. I can't really explain it, but I can tell that it's such a horrible feeling, when everywhere you look, all you see is hate. People judging and making fun of others. It doesn't matter who you are, what you do or even how successful you are in life, there are always people who will hate you for what you're doing. Even if it's just being shamelessly yourself or loving the person you want to love, only because you fell in love with the soul of a person who happens to be the same gender as you. There will always be people, who will defend rapists and their rights, rather than supporting a young woman who needs an abortion, who's life will probably never be the same. They are ready to support bad politicians, knowing all the bullshit they've done and said. Instead of choosing love, they are willingly choosing hate. What kind of monster does something like that, other than we humans? There are so many people, living in unawareness of all the things that are happening to us, right here and now. Too many people who just don't get it, and it bothers me so damn much. There are too many of them. Why can't we just let others live, instead of spreading our own unhappiness and hate onto others? I wish I understood. Why is there so much hate in this big world and such a small room for love? It's so sad.
