I highly encourage you to!!!! foraging is a great way to use/gain free resources and try new foods. My only advice (if you do decide to start) is to stay away from any with poisonous lookalikes and stick to those with no lookalikes or only edible ones :o) later on its easier to identify small differences, but its easier to train yourself without the possibility of being poisoned LOL!! ive always loved mushrooms so i think fungi started my love of foraging

there are a few like plantz that i most def can tell the poison version from the normal version ( like queen anne lace ) but lowkey no clue where to forage at, like idk if you could just forage on nature trailz or if thatz like illegal

i forage in any public property thats obviously public (Street corners, woodsy areas that arent near houses, parks, trails, etc.) but id also just look at the laws in your area, for me foraging is legal as long as its public property or you have the landowner's permission :op its also easier if you have a specific plant in mind so you can search in areas specific to it (too many times ive gone out foraging, ended up wandering blind n coming home with nothing when i had a list too broad)
