Don't they feel lonely?

Isn't it strange how sometimes, even though you have friends or people who love you, you still don't answer their messages? Not because you're being rude, it's just that sometimes I feel so disconnected from the world and everyone around me that it's hard for me to let go of my loneliness to answer your message. Is that bad?
