Are there any mentally stable or unstable masochists here? (Psychology Research)

As creepy as this sounds, its not like that here. Im just writing something and I need some insight from a masochist be it healthy, unhealthy, or maybe just someone that dislikes affection, love, or is emotionless. Im not any of these things, its the total opposite of me, so it will be helpful to talk to someone for research. 

I said stable and unstable bcs I think there are 2 kinds of masochists. "Healthy" meaning normal people that just enjoy being hurt or think about it. And "Unhealthy" meaning someone that wants to be hurt more because of self-hatred, not just for the power dynamic. Think the way masochism is written in the DSM-5: Self-sabotaging, avoids love, affection, good people, seek only abusive partners and decisions that makes them miserable because they think they dont deserve to be happy. 

I only ever knew one person as the latter, that being my ex. But obviously, I cant contact him abt this. So if any of this sounds like you, and ur fine with sharing it and exploring those feelings, please talk to me, it will be very helpful
