slit through my chest
ripping and widening my wound
you don't run
you don't shudder
my guts and intestines fall out
and black butterflies fill the sky
I ponder
you wonder
you say I'm beautiful
I reply
so are you
we find solace in each others arms
intertwining tightly
could I forever have this feeling
where I was in front of you
and you were in front of me
and have this ecstatic flow exchange through our body
you don't find me hideous
you don't find me horrid
this monstrous beast
has perhaps fallen
for the sweetest soul
that guides me
to love again
I love you.
