I hope I can go to another local Hardcore show soon. Its one of the few places i actually feel welcome in, they are so great. Local shows are just better than large stadium ones imo. Everything feels so much more intimate.
ik they are violent and messy, and someone always gets punched in the face or thrown into a 40 year old guy with a beard, but thats the whole point. I like the violence, I like the moshpits, cigarette smoke everywhere, nowhere to really stand, someones groin is always shoved into your back, its amazing. ik i made it sound really fucked up, but you get the point nerd.
idk maybe its just me, but i love that i can just get all my rage, sadness, and excitement out in a crowd of people who feel the same way i do. Everyone comes together and just lets out everything in their pathetic lives, just like me. Theres no talking, no hatred, no alienation, just the music and the people. it feels like everyone becomes one, we all melt into the music and through the music we can all hear and feel each others rage, sorrow, anything we don't like about our lives or this shitty world we live in.
Large shows just don't make me feel that way, it feels so god damn corporate or something, idk the word to use. They are fun sure, i just don't feel the same way i do at local shows. Its just this type of happiness i never really get to feel, especially not lately. Things are fucked like that sometimes ig lol. If anyone lives in GA and is afraid to go to small shows alone, hit me the fuck up.
side note, I am currently running this PC off USB tethering and a broken karaoke
machine for makeshift speakers, FUCK those AI business geeks for making
RAM so expensive, if ur one of those mfs i think ur a Jack-off. I barely know how to use a
computer, and now ur making it almost impossible for me to even get one
that functions. I'm running off 2 potatoes and a battery. Eat my nards.
i'm sure i have more i could rant about, but i'll save that for another day.
I am the son of rage and love,
The Jesus of Suburbia.
