BL is losing the Plot

Can we please talk about the INCREASING genre of SA and Sherlock Holmes syndrome in BL/Yaoi? It drives me CRAZY seeing these power bottoms get thrown around by there AWFUL tops but they still end up falling for them… (yes I’m quoting JINX and Champaign and roses) I miss the times when consent and green flags was the author's MAIN GOAL lol. it’s honestly only expectable if both characters are the same amount of toxic.
