Why did I disappear for so long? Now, I can't be so sure this is a question anybody's asked, but I thought I'd answer it anyway.
My beloved, beloved Spacehey, why did I leave you? Not a clue! All I know is I'd been resenting my profile for so long, it was an ill-representation of me , and I wanted to get rid of it. Only to never return!
Well, that and my outlook on modern tech, social media, privacy, anti-schmovernment beliefs, clinical perfectionism, my preference for living in the moment, my lack of the inclination to just *click click click* on myself on mundane days, BLAH BLAH BLAH! It all lead me too disappear almost completely. And I really don't know where I went. Something amazing perhaps? Climbed Mount Everest? Nope!
All that remains is me, just as lonely and bored as the first day you met me. I miss you all very much. My new layouts coming together. Many, many more grumpy rants and tangents have been brewing like bitter black coffee. The good old stuff. Those who remember, remember. Those were the days...
Sighhh, sooo really I mean to say hello. Hi. Not dead. Very much here. Coming back? Who knows. No more promises. But I miss Spacehey.

If you left for good, I wouldn’t blame you. SpaceHey has been having problems lately.
Somehow missed this comment! But yeah, I do feel that, it's a shame. I love this site too much to let go though unfortunately for me

oh, that's right, I somehow didn't really consider that but that definitely wiped out at least a good 20% of users given its a mostly english-speaking site. craaaap!

Yeah, between the UK, Australia, and parts of the US only being able to use the site with a VPN a lot of people have just stopped using it. Sad, but it makes sense, if using the site requires more work a lot of people would rather just stop using it instead :(
