It snowed literally 8 inches here and the power went out. The highways are closed and people are stranded (some have been for over 24 hours). Theres literally abandoned cars everywhere. Trees fell down so you can't enter or leave some roads. Luckily I managed to make it to my grandparent's who have wifi and power but my neiborhood still doesn't have either. This is the worst snow (week?) day I have ever seen. I wonder if the National Guard will come in at some point.

That sounds pretty bad. I have seen some bad snowstorms but my area has always been thoroughly prepared. I live in Minnesota and my city has an excellent plow service - we got over a foot of snow in 24 hours last week and the biggest problem we had was visibility. It was nearly a white-out.
In any case, I hope you're doing well and I hope your community gets the help they need - and don't let your grandparents drive in that!
Thanks for the kind words. I live in Virginia and we are underprepared every time it happens lol. This is probably the most snow I've seen here. The snow plowing here is really terrible they honestly might as well not do it.
