first time hiking!!! TW: dead animal

I went off trail hiking with my boyfriend and his family yesterday and it was pretty fun!!

It was pretty cold and snowing hard so I had to layer up and I almost fell a bunch of times but the views I saw were so pretty!! I wish I had taken more pictures :(

We stumbled upon a dead deer which was pretty cool!! it was almost all bone besides the head, we also saw a possum, it such a scared little guy I felt bad for him. we saw some trees that definitely were there for years, you could see where they had old branches. 

I did get whacked by a branch pretty hard tho :( my cheeks stung for like 10 minutes afterward 

overall I had a bunch of fun and I should probably go hiking more!!

also afterwards I knocked out once I got home.
