Your Mental Health

Mental health is one of the most vital parts of everyone's lives, but it's also not talked about nearly enough, people do not ask if people are okay enough, people don't check in on others enough, it is rarely talked about in media or pop culture, and it is misrepresented constantly


Every negative thing you are feeling, or have ever felt, is temporary, and i know it seems cliche and basic, but it's true, it will always go away eventually, whether through numbness, discovery, or just from a fleeting feeling, and that may make you think "well wouldn't that mean every positive thing is temporary too", and unfortunately that is also true, but that doesn't change the point, life is full of temporary moments whether they are good or bad, they will end, whether you like that or not, and that's okay, you can always look forward to positive moments in the future, even if you aren't exactly sure what they are, and this is exactly what you should do when you are feeling down, understand that you have to go through some darkness to really see the light, and when the light comes, just enjoy it without thinking about it ending, you will always make it through bad times, and you should never make a drastic decision when you're feeling down, because then you'll be stuck feeling that way forever or for longer, even if you think it's an escape, it isn't, people care about you, and if you don't think anyone does, then i care for you, even if i have no idea who you are, if you aren't feeling good feel free to reach out to me, i'll always respond


And here are some things you can also do if you are feeling down:

Try something new, like maybe skateboarding or drawing or anything

Find new music, or listen to music you already like, preferably not sad music

Start collecting something, for example I now collect cds and pokemon cards

Try and talk to more people, people are friendlier than you think

Really focus on school or your job/getting a job

Talk to your friends if you have any, and if you don't try to make some, dm me if you want

Watch youtube video essays, they're lowkey heatttt

Learn to do something you never did, like swimming or riding a bike

Join an organization or club

Just go outside and walk around, get fresh air

Start going to the gym, it gives you a goal and something to work for, and you can see progress

Run around roblox and be annoying in vc, it's lowkey fun

Go get some food
