I don’t know what I qualify as stylistically, can I get outside opinion?

So for starters my dress style mainly revolves around black + accent color (usually green) with stuff like chains, studded accessories and bright colors I’ve been told I look scene/scenemo

My taste in music is a bit of everything but I really like femtanyl, Kevin Sherwood and heaven pierce her, so it’s not anything that specific really

Hai! Fellow hardcore scene girl here X3
Soooooo to be scene/emo/scemo you DO have to have the hair, it is absolutely necessary. Without it, you're just alteranitve (generalizing) or scenecore. The alternative subculture as a whole has been watered down like 95% since the mid 2000's and the culture has lost a lot of it's meaning when it comes to what qualifies in the specific scene/emo/scemo subculture and what it means to be in this community. It's the same with overaccessorizing. People thing you need a lotta accessories to be scene but you really don't. The subculture is really simple with clothing and has a moderate amount of bracelets and necklaces and belts. Of course, to each scene king/queen their own, tbh it really is just the hair that matters when it comes to differenciating different styles/subcultures in the scene ^w^

unless u have the cut, ur not scene since it heavily fashion based (coming from someone who had the cut and desperately needs to redo it.) i'd say ur scenecore/scenemo.
