Unfinished poem

Samsara poem

Skin will fade to flowery petal

Bone remains, forever unsettled

Leaving behind an osseous constitution

A form immutable in evolution

Forever the method of human preservation

Skeletal residue carved from stardust

Stays behind, feeding the Earth's crust

Mortal soil imbued with memories

Supplies dear mother with her amenities

The genetic formula for a long life loved

Present gives way to something brighter and clean

Turntables rewind to what cannot be seen

Immediate moment fades, but memory catalogues

Everything up until our exclusionary epilogues

The time we spend molded as a crude effigy

-------------------------------------------------

Difficult for me to finish, not sure where to go or how to end it.
