I got a portable cd player for christmas, and a case for my cds, so i ended up buying my own blank cds and a cd burner. it's supposed to get here on monday, and i'm SO excited. If this ends up going well, I'll probably end up ditching my spotify premium subscription (yes i have spotify premium :'])
On a seemingly random note, I could probably start using my portable cd player, my camcorder, and my flip phone in bulk now!!
I used my flip phone for a while (i'd say around 2 months?), its not very convenient which is the entire point of the phone lol. I told myself if i ever needed a break from my phone to just go to the flip phone. The only issue i had with it was that my parents couldn't track me while i was at school events, or when i was out with friends. It was a shared concern, ngl, since if anything happened they wouldn't know. OH I LIED. 2 issues. I cant play pokemon go on a flip phone..
As for my camcorder.. its from walmart, and it doesn't like me too much. I wanna get a sony camera for my birthday, though, so we'll see how that goes-
I can't wait for it to be summer again, dudes. I'll get to ride my bike again. I think a raccoon stole the pieces of my bell from my bike... but itll be fine! It's not a main part of the bike. I'm not crying or anything...
Anyways i'm gonna go sleep. Just had to dump my thoughts somewhere haha. Are any of you guys into physical media?? you should tell me about it, i'm trying to build my collection fr. DVDs, CDs, games, not too sure if this counts, but ACTUAL PHYSICAL pictures, that sort of thing?
anyways tell me about it. i'm interested :D and thanx for reading C:

awesome!! personally i mainly use my flip phone, camcorder, and camera.
my flip phone works well and i don't use anything besides it. when it breaks i already have another phone in mind, but it's probably gonna last at least a few more years. i got it for my birthday in january 2025 (my parents originally got me the same phone but really used and messed up for christmas and i broke it within a week)
i don't listen to music outside the house much. if i do listen to music, i use my stereo in my bedroom, or youtube or bandcamp or something if i don't have it physically. my favourite format is cd but i have a box of vinyl records and a dozen or so tapes in my drawer. two of the tapes are actually the literal only evidence that my dad's cousin's band existed in the early 1990s that i can find anywhere, on the internet or otherwise.
if you like slightly lower quality camcorders, i suggest a sony hdr cx 210. it can do 480p 4:3 video. my friend actually found that camcorder at an abandoned lot near our house. it had some photos and videos on it but it had been there for days so he took it and let me have it.
i'm just starting to make my own collection of dvds. i have two of the matrix movies so far.
we have a ps1, xbox (2001), wii, and gamecube. well also an xbox 1s but that's boring and new :P i don't use the consoles much since i'm not into video games that much anymore but when i do play it's usually Jet Set Radio Future on the Xbox (again, 2001, not 2017 or whatever)
if you mean film at the end, i just got a polaroid for christmas. film for it is really expensive though so i only use it occasionally.
also this isn't physical media but it's kinda related. i have a big 21" crt that my friends and i found on the side of the road and took to my house. it, uh, doesn't work except for audio. really sucks because we carried a like 30 kg tv like half a kilometre over hills just for it to be broken :/ but at a little event one time i bought a 5" black and white crt, along with a plug and play tv games thing, and that's fun.
