LONG STORY SHORT !

I'm studying music production in a music school from Lima, Peru (which is great for not being an actual university) and I have contacts who sends me info about who's coming to this side of the world and who's coming to the country I'm curently living in.

In June 18th this guy literally SENT an audio of some working guy from Move Concerts, the producer that is bringing MCR here, and said which countries in South America were ready to drop the announcement. 

And yes, Peru was among them.

And I was like "This guy should be kidding us" until it was June 23rd. Move Concerts dropped the announcement and there was me, trying SO HARD to not to scream in the middle of the office. My friends were screaming, my now-ex boyfriend was screaming. ALL OF US WERE SCREAMING.

It's like a glitch in the matrix, like we fell asleep and then we woke up in a different universe where MCR ACTUALLY NOTICED THIS COUNTRY. I'm gonna be honest, I was calculating a budget to travel back to Argentina (like I did with Bring Me The Horizon) to get to see them live. I buried the fantasy of seeing them live playing the whole The Black Parade album since Gerard said the concert made in Mexico was the last time they would do it FOREVER.

HA! FOREVER MY A*S.

And yeah, I was definitely buying that precious pit ticket, but it was just getting started...

IT WAS HELL TO GET THAT F*CKING TICKET, I had terrible flashbacks from back then when I was an ARMY, and trying to get those tickets for BTS concerts were like the freaking Hunger Games with an immediate sold out. I'm in the official MCR fan club from Peru and everyone was doing ts, of course I was gonna pull the same nasty trick to get it, the whole stadium had a limited stock with 25% off discount using a card from the bank I'm affiliated with, and luckily I made it... With the 15% off discount. 

But HEY, pit was sold out in like... an hour? After being available. It was a victory. And yes, tickets here are WAAAAAY cheaper than in the US. The most expensive one at full pricing could be paid with the minimun salary of a part-time job and you would STILL have money for the rest of the month if u live with ur parents (my situation FOR NOW).

Also it's the first time they are coming as MCR because Frank came with the Future Violents in 2019 (I was in high school back then). I missed it... Damn it.

THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS BLOG IS that I still can't believe they're coming, and with the re-scheduling of the concert in Colombia, Peru became the country which they're going to OPEN the world tour.

AND I'M GOING PIT!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy who filters the data to me said Peru won something BIG with the re-schedule thingy since it's the first date of the tour, which I'm definitely NOT READY.

And I'm surprised they're bringing that "something BIG" here, that stadium got rejected for a Taylor Swift concert here (I'm not a fan, but they said it was due to technical issues with the venue MCR will perform here (outdated stuff, basically)) so IDK HOW ARE THEY GETTING THINGS PREPARED IN FEW DAYS, they're coming to the Estadio Nacional RIGHT AFTER BAD BUNNY (ew).

Since I work near the venue but never got the chance to look at it closer myself I went there with my ex-boyfriend to check how much of a nightmare the waiting line is gonna be. And we screamed right there, panicking in gay language, while doing a poor attempt of a frerard bullets-era cosplay (he laid on the floor because it was too much for him, I was standing there, having a mental breakdown). IT'S F*CKING HUGE, I'm not gonna survive this. WE are not surviving this, and if we do, it would be a f*cking miracle.

The simple fact of MCR coming to Peru for the first time in their careers is impossible yet astonishing enough, the banner which the producers made the announcement is literally "It seemed impossible", now OPENING the world tour is beyond our wildest dreams. 

HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE FLARES THE CONCERT OF SYSTEM OF A DOWN HAD HERE??????? THEY WENT CRAZY! EVEN THE BAND IS TRYING TO COME BACK HERE!!! (Spoiler: Yes! SOAD is planning another tour!).

Expect the most crazy shots from this concert, because South American people goes F*CKING MENTAL when it comes to this kind of bands. I might even appear on TikTok doing some crazy sh*t with a Revenge era Frank's cosplay (respecting the band ofc, NOT LICKING GERARD'S HAND). And yes, that's the venue they'll play.

SOOOOOOOOO... I'm f*cked up.

(But in a good way!)

I never thought I'd get to see them live and I'm so happy I'll get to experience seeing live another band I grew up with, and the most important followed by Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce The Veil, Limp Bizkit and Bullet For My Valentine. MCR saved my life.

This will be an EPIC chaos!!! Can't wait to see them already!!!!!!!
