hellow spaceheyers :-) this is my first post~!
I am a habitual, lifelong lurker, since as a kid I revered people who posted online like it was nbd. I built it up in my head like the digital world and digital actions were soooo consequential and serious, but impossibly out of reach for me. I'd like to try the whole casual-life-blogging thing now that I'm an adult and the guinea pig generations have experienced the problems of living here, online. I'm a big fan of whatever this trend is among the chronically online older genZ rejecting the Internet as it stands for the Internet we had/could've had.
I've never even made one friend in all the time I've spent staring at different kinds of screens. I want this year to be different. It's kind of a resolution I've made... as embarrassing as it is I was partly inspired by that one manga/anime that was popular a while ago, "kumiko can't communicate," or something like that? In which the main character tries to make 100 friends by the end of high school or whatever. Highly corny but that idea stuck with me: that I could just choose to change. I just have to talk, right?! So I'm just gonna operate on this site by ignoring my instincts and pressing publish.
Anyways hi. Will work on my page shortly. 'Till then, because some users like to browse & friend new people: some of my interests are Star Trek, sci-fi, broadening my music tastes (because I was super musically sheltered), soulseek, the history of computing, digital minimalism (dumb phones, analog alternatives or gadgets), aaand idk, fanfiction lol although I have my gripes with fandom n' shit. Right now I am rewatching the Venture Bros tv show. I just watched the movie Electric Dreams and it was so fucking slept on, we need a computer sitcom NOW. I don't have much time for gaming anymore but I am looking forward to playing Silent Hill F and getting into Palworld in a cozy mind-melting way.
Peep more of my interests here (I only use it for fanart basically): https://www.tumblr.com/loqist
have a good day/evening, mwah.
